How-To Use AraliaHP

How to use AraliaHP vermicompost extract product:

  • 1. Fill a container with 1 to 2 gallons of warm but not hot water. It is best to used filtered water without chlorine.

  • 2. Place the mesh bag in the water and massage gently for approximately 5 minutes.

  • 3. Water plants with the water within 24 hours, preferably immediately.

  • 4. Use the remaining solid contents in the bag as a soil amendment - putting it in your potted plant or garden. The bag contents should be below the soil surface by at least ¼ inch. If you put it on the surface, use compost or soil to cover it as this product is intended to contain living microorganisms.

  • 5. Chemicals such as fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides will kill the soil microorganisms and should be avoided. 

  • 6. The frequency of use depends on the soil condition. You can use as frequently as every 2 weeks for soils that are sterile or devoid of life. As life begins to build in the soil and a symbiotic relationship to the plant roots flourishes, you may be able to space out to 2 months between uses.
